Oldham Church Of Christ ....
Every person long to know why they exist. In a world filled with noise, pressure, and uncertainty, many wonder whether their life truly matters. The Bible gives a clear and comforting answer: you were created on purpose, with purpose, by a God who knows you personally. Your story is not an accident; it is part of a masterpiece God is still shaping.
You Are Not an Accident: Every life carries meaning, and every person is created with intention. No matter your background, culture, language, or personal journey, your existence is not random. The Bible reminds us in Jeremiah 1:5: “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you.”
Before you were born, God already knew you, loved you, and had a purpose in
mind for your life.
Created With Purpose: Many people wonder
why they are here, especially during difficult seasons. Yet Scripture tells us
in Ephesians 2:10: “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for
good works.” The word workmanship can also be translated as masterpiece.
You are God’s masterpiece, carefully designed, uniquely gifted, and created for
something meaningful.
Your Story Matters to
God: Life
may include struggles, delays, disappointment, or unanswered questions, but
none of these erase God’s plan for you. In Jeremiah. 29:11, God told the
Israelites in Babylonian captivity at the time: “For I know the plans I have
for you… plans to give you a future and a hope.” He fulfilled this plan
exactly as he promised. Even painful chapters can become part of a greater
story when placed in God’s hands.
God Still Shapes
Lives Today: Like a potter shaping clay, God continues to form
lives with love and patience (Isaiah 64:8). He can restore what feels broken,
guide what feels uncertain, and bring beauty out of every season.
